Skin tag and wart removal

Skin tags and warts are flesh coloured or brown growths that hang off the skin. They are usually harmless but can be intrusive.

Cryotherapy Treatment

To remove both skin tags and warts. The treatment is carried out by our experienced doctors.

Advanced Electrolysis

The treatment consists of a minute sterilised disposable needle which is introduced to the area. A low current is used, similar to that used in Electrolysis Hair Removal. This current produces a heating effect when applied to the area and its contents coagulate, a small scab will appear and will eventually slough off. Some will remove immediately depending on size.

Electro surgery works by using a small probe to cauterise various skin lesions in a safe and very effective way with minimal trauma to the surrounding skin.

Sometimes results can be seen immediately but results may be more visible after any crusting has disappeared after around 10 days.

Results are permanent on successfully treated lesions – viral lesions such as warts can come back over time.

Depending on the lesion to be removed a follow up session may be required 4-6 weeks after the 1st session.

It isn’t recommended to have electro surgery before going on holiday as the skin needs to heal and sun can cause the skin to pigment.

Surgical excision may be needed for larger or more complex lesions

Excellent service from all the staff at Surrey Skin Care. Thoroughly recommend going here, for any skin problems, nothing is to big or small for them to help you with or look in to for you.
